Welcome to the Living Miracles Newsletter!

The faith of a mustard seed is all that is required for the Holy Spirit to enter into the mind that is willing.  Here in Australia there is a beautiful feeling of opening and beginning, as we come together and join in the Truth that is always true.  God's love and presence is here and now, and that is all there is and all there ever will be.

I feel honored to share some words with you for our inaugural Living Miracles Australia Newsletter.  There is a silence in my mind and a peace pervading the heart as I look back at all the orchestration, beginning at the Noosa Conference earlier this year when the symbol of a church was introduced.  How joyous and celebratory was the "meeting" that unfolded as the resounding answer from Down Under was YES!

God's will for me is perfect happiness.  My will and the Father's are one.  How eloquent Jesus is and how sweet the feeling of these truths as I allow them to impart their knowledge to me, one beautiful step at a time.

Welcome to these pages; they are yours.  Feel free to send in contributions to me, be they words, photos, music, or video clips that shine the light of Christ upon us all. The newsletter will be published monthly and you will need to sign up on the link at the top of this email to continue to receive it. The newsletter will be published monthly, so stay tuned!

Love and blessings,

Message from David

In late November this year, I am returning to Australia for yet another tour along the East Coast. Last year the new Living Miracles Austalia Church was started, and there are a group of devoted ones who are joyfully extending the Presence of God as this experience unfolds. Our newest Messenger of Peace Suzanne Sullivan, is coming to Australia for the first time, and she will be joining with Kirsten, Jason, and Helena and I in the Nelson Bay area at the Beacon (which is being stewarded by our friend and ordanied minister Jackie Simpson). Suzanne will be coordinating our travels and retreats this time around since she is our new tour coordinator and also our newest ordained minister. Our friend Noell Grace, who also is newly ordained as a minister for the Living Miracles America Church, is coming to Australia for the first time as well, bringing her guitar along and love. Noell will be on the tour with us as we launch from Nelson Bay in December, January, and early February.

I so appreciate the depth and devotion I see reflected in my sisters and brothers in Australia. They have been taking and continue to take, very bold steps in the Great Awakening, and it is inspiring to behold and witness. We are walking hand in hand in this glorious inward journey, and rejoicing and singing as we are carried along by the Holy Spirit.

I will see you soon my beloved sisters and brothers.

Showers of Happiness,

David

Sunday Service at the Beacon

By Kirsten Buxton

Our first church service here at the Beacon in Corlette on Sunday was beautiful.  The service was all about our shared purpose and experiencing the real meaning of the Church.

When Jesus said to Peter, "On this rock I will build my church," he was responding to Peter's recognition of the Christ.  Peter knew who Jesus was.  He had recognized Jesus' true identity as the Son of God, and this awareness was what would inspire him to continue his ministry with faith and devotion long after Jesus was no longer around in form.  Even though the apostles struggled to understand the depth of Jesus' teachings, Jesus knew that Peter, because of his recognition, was trustworthy.  Like Peter, our devotion to Jesus and to God is what our church is founded upon.

The living experience of our joy, our inspiration, and our shared purpose is the reason to come together.

During the service, I read these three sections from our Living Miracles Australia Tenets of Faith:

GOD -- We believe that God is Love, and His will is all there is. The Holy Trinity appears as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  In truth they are one; in truth there is only God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT -- We believe Jesus is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is the Voice for God, and is part of God, being in communion with Him always.  The Holy Spirit is the Answer to the belief in separation from God, and He is a Guide to lead us from fear back to the Kingdom of Heaven.  The outcome of listening to and following the Holy Spirit is always peace, love, happiness, freedom, and joy.  There need not be any exceptions to trusting Inner Guidance and living a life of integrity, honesty, and harmony.

THE CHURCH -- We believe that the living church is the holy home where God abides.  The foundation of the church is built upon who we are---devoted disciples of Christ.  The presence of an altar is what makes the church holy; therefore, the purpose of the church is to inspire love.

Thanks to the Holy Spirit and to beloved friends with technical skills, we have a wonderful selection of inspirational music videos and ACIM chants, which are part of the collaborative vibe of the service.  It is such fun to have our own church and to have it be full of love and laughter!

To begin with we will be having a weekly service, which may change to bi-weekly at a later stage.  Using Skype worked beautifully to include friends in from around Australia and New Zealand, many of whom gathered together to join for the call.

Thank you God, thank you beautiful companions, thank you Jesus for bringing us together to shine and share your message of Love!

With love and happiness,

Kirsten

A Deep Call for God

By Jackie Simpson

Earlier this year a group of wonderful people who desired a deeper path came together to form Living Miracles Australia, the umbrella under which the symbol of a church would operate.  At that time my desire was to hold a space of quiet reverence in the form of a retreat house, and the call was not to be involved in the church.  Well, that was supported for a while, and then, as I've come to experience over the last two years, the tapestry changed again. The tapestry becomes quite beautiful in the acceptance of this never-ending, shifting dance of form.  It became clear that I was desiring my own comfort zone. I should have known better, given the experiences to date!  Soon it became evident that the call was to step into a role in the church, in the form of a minister.

At a church meeting held over Skype at The Beacon a couple of weeks ago, I accepted that role, which was totally unexpected but so wonderfully orchestrated by the Spirit, David Hoffmeister arrived in the room in Utah with papers in hand for the licensing ceremony.  I can feel now the emotion that moment brought up for me.  It was the moment of truth-is this truly what I want?  The huge "yes" in my heart felt as though it was such a solid core of knowing that this decision can never be reversed.  In that moment, answering the call through this symbol of the church, had nothing to do with others, with a church, or with the symbol of minister. It also wasn't the silent promise I had made to myself many times before. This was a public declaration of a call that came from deep within, from far far beyond me, to be heard in this moment as the absolute certainty in my heart of the Call for God.  In writing this, I feel my hands trembling with the overwhelming emotion of gratitude that I feel for the opportunity that is given me to follow this path with the amazing level of support that is always there for me.  Thank you dear Jesus.  Amen.

"The Beacon"
Here at the Beacon, located in beautiful Port Stephens on the coast, three hours north of Sydney, we have recently welcomed Kirsten's arrival from the monastery, and Melanie and Michael from Yowrie.  What blessings we receive!  We are all settled now and welcome a visit from you.  The purpose of the house is to invite you to come and join us to experience living devotionally and to join in the joy of stepping into Purpose.  We are certain that when the Holy Spirit brings you here it is for our own healing and to maintain our only real Relationship with Him.

How it works
There is a lot of open communication.  Our goal is Love.  Typically we begin with a morning meeting to share thoughts, pray, or meditate, and then we focus on our tasks for the day using them as a backdrop for healing our minds together.  We spontaneously meet each other for meals or discussion; we usually have movies in the evenings and enjoy time just basking together!  Our days are very full.  We are highly focused and it is our JOY to stay in Purpose!

Availability:

The Beacon is available for devotional stays from October until 14th November 2010.

October Retreat at the Beacon

Kirsten and Jackie are holding a four-day retreat at the Beacon at the end of October.

Jackie writes:  "When the Peace of God is the only desire on the altar of our heart, it is guaranteed to bring us the experience of true joy and love.  In this state of mind we are "carried" on this glorious journey in the love of God."

I WILL NOT BE AFRAID OF LOVE TODAY

This is the determination not be be asleep in dreams
while truth remains forever living in the joy of love.

Sue and Greg will join us on Saturday to lead the gathering in the afternoon where they will share their experience of being at the monastery in Utah.  On Saturday evening they will lead a musical gathering with singing and laughter.  Dancing is optional but highly likely!

David and the Messengers meet with those who desire to discern between the ego's thought system and the Holy Spirit's purpose of forgiveness. Acknowledging that truth is in the Mind, they offer an invitation to engage in the uncovering of the beliefs that seem to obstruct the awareness of love's presence. The Messengers of Peace serve as mighty companions for each other and recognize that awakening is not a casual endeavour, but one that demands a deliberate and uncompromising commitment. The depth of devotion and faith reflect their willingness to question all assumptions. Total transformation of the mind is approached with passion, devotion, and a burning desire from within. This is their unified goal and purpose.
