The Five Levels of Mind How can you attain peace of mind and have it as a consistent experience? It can never be found by changing circumstances in the world. It can only be found by going into the mind, where truth is found. Let’s begin with the introduction to A Course in Miracles. "Nothing real can be threatened; nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." This is saying that anything that is not peaceful is an illusion. The process of forgiveness is recognizing illusions as unreal. The metaphor of a dream is helpful. In a dream you think the images you see are real, but on waking you realize they are false. Freud said "Dreams are wish fulfilment" and that’s what they are. The wish that made up this world was the wish to be separate from God. In Heaven all is the same so there is no need for learning, for forgiveness. But everyone who seems to come to this world is in need of forgiveness. What needs to be forgiven is the perception of a world of images. Nothing we see with the eyes or hear with the ears is of any value. The body is not even necessary for perception. The mind perceives. The body as the perceiver is only a belief. If you identify with the body, you may fear losing your eyesight. But the body is just a communication device for the Holy Spirit to use for a while. Then you lay it aside. The ego made the body and the cosmos to keep the mind asleep, dreaming and guilty. Jesus said "My Kingdom is not of this world. I am calling you out of the world. I am calling you to wake up from this dream of separation." This world is not natural. Love is natural. Freedom is natural. But a sense of limitation or fear is not natural. The way to wake up is called forgiveness. But it is not the forgiveness of this world, in which someone is seen as doing a harmful act and then forgiven. The world of perception has come from the ego. It is a trick, a deception. It seems very convincing, very real. So convincing that six billion people seem to think it’s real too. This is a world of differences. No two people see the same world. Each has their own perspective. The way out is to realize that the ego made it all up. As long as you believe in the ego you will experience conflict. One Hug Gathering – Living Waters  The Australian contingent of the Family of Light have gathered here at Living Waters’ this past 3 days for a most joyous experience of the love of God! With the desire to simply join in the spontaneity of the Spirit, to share and extend the gifts that we’ve been given and collaborate in the Community of Mind we discovered a deep and abiding love that connects us all. We would start our day resting in the Christ and from there we joined in an expression session that left me so lifted in the love that I cried at everyone’s deeply honest and authentic sharing which allowed the beliefs to be exposed and relinquished with the greatest of ease. Many miracles occurred ...old hatreds were completely transformed and many ideas around specialness and relationships were looked at with the eyes of Spirit for perhaps the first time. The attention on the Kingdom and the Trust that Spirit has us, strengthened my purpose and desire to recognise my dependence on God .....the ever present joy that’s available as I relinquish egos fierce attachment to judgement and belief to uphold a separate mini me! We were joined by Jason and Kirsten on Skype on 2 occasions and we all felt a deep gratitude and resonance with their sharing and the abiding love and oneness that really is Community in Mind. The whole gathering was a demonstration of the willingness to get real together, to open to falling in love without conditions and experience the rest of direct communication in God. I’m so grateful for everyone’s willingness to be authentic in Spirit and answer the call of God! ...It’s all for me! For those of you who know me you know that I am a very social person who loves to join, loves to hug and share. Still I have always felt that I never really knew how to truly connect with anyone, that something was still missing and that I was truly alone amidst the myriads of people in my life.Then I spent 3 hours with a friend to truly look at all of the obstacles standing in my way to true love. We shared a clarity expression session to empty my mind of all thoughts and allow me to go deeper and deeper into long held beliefs that were buried in my unconscious mind. I laughed and I cried as I discovered thoughts that I never knew I had. This friend just looked beyond the words I was speaking and no matter what I said she held the space of believing and seeing me as the Son of God, just pure love and light. For the first time in my life I truly experienced beyond understanding what it was like to be fully present. What it felt like to be connected; the love was beyond my words and the experience was mind altering. My heart and mind were open, my whole world changed; and in that I realized what I was missing, what I needed to truly join. I know now that if it is my desire to experience love and to experience the joy of connecting with anyone, I need to be present. My mind must be empty of all thoughts and all distractions. I have one purpose and that is to be where I am fully and completely with no mind wandering, no past or no future; to be totally here now. That is where I will experience the love. I wish I could say I was in the experience in all moments, but I can’t. But I know it is possible and it is always a decision I am making to be in the experience of love and connectedness or not. I love you all and cannot express how grateful I am for the full use of the clarity process that has taken me deeper and deeper into myself; to open the door, to allow love and for love to be what I desire above all else. Love for me is the peace of God.
