Trust and Inspiration
"Dream softly of your sinless brother, who unites with you in holy innocence. And from this dream the Lord of Heaven will Himself awaken His beloved Son. Dream of your brother's kindnesses instead of dwelling in your dreams on his mistakes. Select his thoughtfulness to dream about instead of counting up the hurts he gave. Forgive him his illusions, and give thanks to him for all the helpfulness he gave. And do not brush aside his many gifts because he is not perfect in your dreams. He represents his Father, Whom you see as offering both life and death to you. Brother, He gives but life. Yet what you see as gifts your brother offers represent the gifts you dream your Father gives to you. Let all your brother's gifts be seen in light of charity and kindness offered you.  Community InspirationThis month the Living Miracles Australia Newsletter welcomes in a few new changes with (mySelf) Sue, accepting the editorial 'ship' from Melanie. I am joining with Rochelle and Peter, who are on media and technical support, in a most divine collaboration! In the flow of open communication, trust in the Spirit and inspiration, we are all feeling the joy of this endeavour, not only to extend from heart to heart, but to be joining together for the one purpose of healing the mind and remembering the Self! Many seeming changes are occurring within the Australian community, with Melanie and Michael extending their stay in Canada and the U.S, and Jackie answering the call to spend more time with David and the Messengers this year. Messenger of Peace JP wings his way to the U.S as I write, and Kirsten is likely to be going there within the month. Community members here are consolidating their home base with a deepening of commitment to each other (God!). A strengthening of trust in the undoing is naturally occurring and is being beautifully orchestrated by Spirit! Through these changes the value of communication through exposure of private thoughts is being seen to reveal the unreality and neutrality of all symbols observed on the screen of life. We find ourselves popping the cork on the flow of Gods love as we let go the belief in a hidden, sinful identity. We experience instead the sense of unity with each other and our single purpose to uncover the blocks to Loves ever- presence! Thank you God! With these next steps being taken, I am recognising within myself a renewed inspiration and expansion within the heart. Lately I've been experiencing a deepening acceptance and resting in the Mind of simply 'what is' and less attachment to thinking I can control the world. I have discovered another level of willingness to embrace and share the happiness I have discovered within by not compromising the hearts call, no matter that it doesn't fit in with what I (or seemingly others) expect! I have seen how driven and goal oriented I have been in this life and the ego has applied this same control to the so called 'spiritual life' as well! 'Be gentle' is a whole new idea but one I value now as an attribute of the presence of Spirit. It feels quite natural really and difficult to find the words to express! It's as if a miracle has slipped silently into my heart while I was not looking and cleared out the clutter, making room for a little more love! I feel like a flower opening to exude its perfume without pressure or haste! Just a natural unfolding that simply had to Be! It seems the more I listen and follow the hearts passion, the deeper the trust in Spirit becomes and its perfume expressed is the desire to shine and share for no reason! When Melanie suggested she hand over the newsletter to me some months back, there was no way I was willing, ready or even interested to make that level of commitment! Now however, it feels only natural to say yes to Spirits' gentle gift as a symbol of commitment to mySelf and to open ever more deeply to the discovery within of the True hearts desire! (Again, thank you God!) We send all love and gratitude to Melanie for her willingness to give to the Living Miracles community such heartfelt and deeply prayerful newsletters each month. They have enriched, inspired and enlightened us with their authenticity and ability to reflect in words, pictures and song exactly what is going on for us all! In gratitude and love, Sue Since the idea of 'Seed Cafe' (Serving Everyone Eternal Devotion) emerged, there has been a lighthearted and shared experience of brightness and joy! We join every second week after the service at HeartSpace for our delicious cafe lattes! We have seen that anything can be used, including preferences (mmmm coffee!!), when truly handed over to Spirit. Extending this love of coffee has been a great excuse to share with the community. Awakening Through A Course in Miracles By David Hoffmeister This book has been such a helpful companion for me on my journey. It's a compilation of David's email messages and website postings as well as transcripts from his gatherings. The wisdom and love of Spirit just pours through in every page. In David's email responses you can feel this unconditional love and desire of Spirit to give all to all. This book contains many deep and profound teachings that, like the course itself, can be reread and experienced on ever deepening levels in the mind. In addition there are two very practical and powerful healing tools in the back of the book, one is called 'Levels of Mind' and the other 'Instrument for Peace'. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has had enough of the pain and suffering of the human condition and has a genuine desire to awaken to the perfectly joyous Spirit that we are in truth. By Colin Carter  Movie Review - Conviction (2010) Hilary Swank plays Betty Anne Waters, a young woman whose life is shattered when her brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) is convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Steadfastly convinced of Kenny's innocence, Betty Anne embarks on an 18 year commitment to freeing Kenny. Through Betty Anne's determination and devotion to her brothers cause, she walks through many apparent roadblocks never giving up hope that she would prove Kenny's innocence and set him free, even when Kenny himself was losing sight of the goal. There's a lovely joining scene with Kenny and his baby daughter at the beginning of the movie. Although he was in jail for most of her growing years, the scene reflects the consistency of love that we share with the Spirit and each other. It never leaves us! An inspiring real-life drama showing how our brother deserves devotion, though the ego can, and does, seek out all evidence to prove that he is not worthy of such love! |
