The Truth is True.
Nothing else matters,nothing else is real,
and everything beside it is not there.
 Jesus was a clear, bright demonstration of unconditional love. He saw only the Christ in everyone and everything. No one is separate from the Love of God. Yet many if not most people of his day seemed upset with Him, upset to the point that they seemed to crucify Him. Yet what is the lesson we would learn from Him: That Christ is Spirit and cannot be crucified. Innocence is incapable of seeing attack, for how could there be Innocence if attack were real. This is why guilt is unreal: attack is impossible. This is the only lesson Jesus taught, though it may seem difficult to grasp. All are beginning the process of learning this one same lesson: attack is impossible. Anything perceived as upsetting is only a mirror of the guilt in which you still believe. Any perception of upset, in yourself or others, is a misperception based in guilt. Yet how could love and guilt co-exist? God is real. Spirit is real. God is Love and Love has no opposite. This is the meaning of unconditional love, and what lesson but this would you want to teach and learn? It will make you feel gloriously happy! If you experience anything but Supreme Happiness, you were not clear of your Purpose. Be clear of what you want and you shall feel the happiness of Innocence and not the confusion of guilt. Are you innocent or guilty? God loves you forever,unconditionally, and nothing can change Gods Mind. Is this not wonderful news?! ~ David Hoffmeister
I can escape from the world I see by giving up attack thoughts.
The idea for today contains the only way out of fear that will ever succeed. Nothing else will work; everything else is meaningless. But this way cannot fail. Every thought you have makes up some segment of the world you see. It is with your thoughts, then, that we must work, if your perception of the world is to be changed.
 The Simplicity of SalvationLet us be still an instant, and forget all things we ever learned, all thoughts we had, and every preconception that we hold of what things mean and what their purpose is. Let us remember not our own ideas of what the world is for. We do not know. Let every image held of everyone be loosened from our minds and swept away.
The value of mind watching has strengthened in me of late, as I surrender more and more to the desire to know love and peace as a consistency in Mind. The undoing, though, has felt uncomfortable as I wrestle with attack thoughts that frolic chaotically across the screen of the mind. I am beginning to accept that I have wanted these thoughts to protect an identity of self I hold dear. Through prayer I am questioning the source of these thoughts, clearly born of the ego, and placing my desire instead on the Spirits perspective. Here's what I'm discovering!
There are no thoughts that need to be wrestled to the ground! No meaning that needs to be made of these thoughts and feelings. No trails to follow or past to uncover in the releasing of beliefs. In fact I'm told even the screen itself becomes superfluous as a witness, good or bad. Life truly has no opposite! In being aware of the subtle distraction ego thoughts can be and not being bewitched by them, I have been seeing that the person of Sue will have a response or expression of some feelings and then proceed, in the name of uncovering beliefs to make a story up about them and be completely distracted from the Present moment or any possibility of healing. When I instead allow the feelings as they arise, not limiting them, chasing them or making mountains out of them I am able to observe with the Spirit and see them as He sees them......As mistaken ideas that have arisen from the closed system of the ego that does not even exist and certainly does not require the deck chairs moved about within it to facilitate a healing!
As you survey your inner world, merely let whatever thoughts cross your mind come into your awareness, each to be considered for a moment, and then replaced by the next. Try not to establish any kind of hierarchy among them. Watch them come and go as dispassionately as possible. Do not dwell on any one in particular, but try to let the stream move on evenly and calmly, without any special investment on your part. In collaboration with others I am being called to observe just what it is I am really asking for and be willing to be totally transparent in every encounter particularly with myself! To truly sit in the backseat and be willing to let the Spirits perspective bring light to all areas of communication with others, and ultimately God. With the Spirit I listen to His judgment allowing feelings of joy to be the litmus test of where I really find myself!
How simple is salvation! All it says is what was never true is not true now, and never will be. The impossible has not occurred, and can have no effects. And that is all. Can this be hard to learn by anyone who wants it to be true? Only unwillingness to learn it could make such an easy lesson difficult. How hard is it to see that what is false can not be true, and what is true can not be false? You can no longer say that you perceive no differences in false and true. You have been told exactly how to tell one from the other, and just what to do if you become confused. Why, then, do you persist in learning not such simple things? I am so grateful for the gentle way the Spirit reveals step by step the deepening stillness and happiness available in Mind as I strengthen my small willingness to trust in Him and put the One Purpose out in front in all my seeming doings!
